Red and Blacks Padding
This Thorobred horseshoe is enhanced with Red and Black Pads, utilizing a dual durometer padding system. The firm red pad is firm ensuring secure nail retention, while the softer black pad at the heel absorbs shock upon impact.
These pads are securely bonded to the horseshoe, and if gluing is preferred, it is important to scuff the pad for proper adhesion. This combination not only increases hooves' comfort but also helps prevent secondary lameness.
As the saying goes, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."
