Red and Blacks Padding
This Kerckhaert horseshoe is enhanced with Red & Blacks Pads. We use a dual durometer padding system. The red pad is firm to help hold your nails when using the option of nailing. The black pad on the heel is a softer rubber that absorbs concussion as the hoof strikes the ground. Our pads are securely bonded onto this horseshoe. If the option of gluing is being utilized, the pad will need to be scuffed for proper adhesion. These pads will provide your horse's hooves with comfort and also aid in preventing secondary lameness.
